This has been a dream costume of mine for a few years and one that was so amazingly fun to wear at Sakuracon and Anime Boston. The Cherry blossom trees near the convention center in the park at Sakuracon were so beautiful, to made me tear up a little. When I imagined wearing this costume, I wanted it to be in a park just like this one. Sentimental, huh?

These photos were taken by Miss Cornstarch (Sakuracon) and David (Anime Boston)and I can't squeeee enough about how happy I am with all of them. Things are super busy at CosWorx right now, so chosing the ones to post as taken a while (I'm so sorry!) There's a LOT of pictures here, but it was SO HARD narrowing them down and deciding which to include.

Maybe I talked up cosplaying Sumire again so much it all seems a little anti-climatic to people not so familiar with Sakura Taisen? Afterall, it is just a kimono with applique that wouldn't stop.

It just made me so very, very happy to be able to get it done and wear it. Cosplaying Sumire never, ever gets old. She's just too awesome of a character even though I'm not really like her.

In closing, these are some of my favorite pictures ever. Something about Sumire makes me feel so serene.
