These were the last costumes I created for Sailor Jamboree, five senshi and Mistress9. All the fabrics were color matched to the S program and all the trimmings were painstakingly researched to be like the ones from that particular show. Moon's wig was done in ANZAs original twist style and her costume fell a little closer to the 1993 musical version than it did S. Each skirt was hand beaded as well. I got a lot of anime watching done as I beaded.

I started these shortly after Ani-Magic 2000. The first one made was Moon, then Venus. I forget the order after that. I do remember wanting to have 2 done before my wedding in December 2000, and that I accomplished. I wore Venus while I was in Japan, January 2001.

These were worn for the masquerade at Fanime 2001, where we performed the song, "Fire". Earlier on that day, I had fallen very ill and I was faint backstage in the cramped quarters given the cosplayers. I'm proud of the performance, as much pain as I was in. The next day, I was nearly dead to the world, and, hoooboy, did the pictures show it.

The last time all these costumes were worn together was at Anime North 2001, coincidentally, my last stage with SJ. I have not worn Venus since.
