The wind at Lake Mead was a little annoying and hard to work with, but it did make for a few cool shots. It seems that nearly every picture of Neptune has her hair blowing in some fashion, so this worked out well! For anyone curious, this wig was bought here on Cosplay.com! It is the Jesus Deluxe wig in dark green. I added a little bit of layering in the front and, though they are hard to see, blue and teal shading. These highlights were done partly with Sharpie (only at the top near the part) and metallic acryllics diluted in alcohol. These were painted on with soft brushes and combed through with wig conditioner. There's even a little glitter highlighting around the face. Right at the hairline, since I have a very slight widow's peak, I put shimmer eyeshadow in teal on the roots to blend it in (can green hair look natural?). Splash eyeshadows are great for this because they are powdery and cover so well. I know it is hard to see. Green/teal is a hard color to capture, I've found. Even in these pictures, the color seems to change shot to shot, something Anime Neptune is plagued with, too.
