To clarify- This character is DUCHESS MONTZETTE. She DOES NOT EXIST. She's not even in the Rose of Versailles anime or manga. SHE IS PURELY A FICTIONAL CHARACTER PLAYED BY A LOONY LADY IN TAKARAZUKA IN THEIR STAGINF OF ROV. As in sparklycrack fruity stage show with lots of crossdressing and showtunes. She is not in history and only exists for comic relief on STAGE. I can't believe it's taken me so long to go through my photos of this costume! This is a picture of the photoshoot HCC cosplay did with Admin at Fanime, 2005 when we did a group of Rose of Versailles costumes from Takarazuka. Montzette is so crazy and fun (not to mention the colors, hello!), I had to make this. Taharazuka is so over the top, we could make our costumes as sparkling dazzling as we wanted! I love cosplaying with my girls in HCC.
