What I did with my Sunday. Thus is the progress of the head piece for my Takarazuka Rose of Versailles costume. The feathers are ostrich plumes and drabs (18-26 inch) with the curls steamed in. It is all attached to a bridal head piece form with combs inside. You can never quite SEE the head attachment part of Montzette's on the DVD, but this works and the sucker will stay on. XD Oh, there's a wig, too. The base was bought on this very site, cosplay.com. It was cut and the bangs done by yours truly.
