Aimee and I have been motivating eachother to work on our dresses by exchanging progress pictures, oohhohooo~~! Did you know, she is going to be the Queen of France? It's TRUE! This is my progress on the skirt for my Takarazuka Rose of Versailles costume. The character is the Duchess of Montzette and she is crazy nutty. It is also noted that she wears a yellow and orange dress. Crazy? Citrus colors? I'M THERE! This is my progress thus far- MOST of the skirt shown on my dressform with my corset. Still to go on the skirt is the beading (each orange puff gets a crystal) a lot of bows, etc. I have my work cut out for me. Excuse the horrid lighting, messy sewing room, held back dressform,etc. Really, it looks better in person XD I have soooooo much more to go on this thing!
